TRIAL ATTORNEY

Jonathan Lopez is a trial attorney with MLG Attorneys at Law. His practice is focused on representing clients who have suffered catastrophic injuries and the families of wrongful death victims, primarily in product liability and automotive defect cases. After graduating from UC Santa Barbara, Jonathan began his legal career as a legal assistant in a fast-paced immigration law practice. He later worked as a paralegal in a real estate law firm and eventually as a litigation paralegal at Inner City Law Center in Los Angeles, California.

Jonathan earned his Juris Doctor degree from Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa, California, where he also worked as a Spanish Interpreter in the Children’s Rights Clinic, volunteered as Peer Advisor, served as Treasurer for the Public Interest Law Foundation, and was an active member in the Trial Advocacy Honors Board. Manuel Certificate for Pro Bono Legal Services, presented by the Board of Trustees of The State Bar of California for his service as a Law Clerk at The Public Law Center in Santa Ana, California.

As a licensed California attorney, Jonathan has successfully represented clients in a wide range of legal matters. These include administrative law, contract law, construction defect litigation, criminal law defense, estate planning, family law, and landlord-tenant law.

When he is not lawyering, Jonathan enjoys time with his family, high intensity interval training (HIIT), hot yoga, meditation, breathwork, cold plunges, mountain biking, drumming for his church, and traveling. He is fluent in Spanish and proficient at simultaneous interpretation.
