PARALEGAL

With nearly 10 years of injury and maritime law experience, Sonya now serves as MLG’s newest litigation manager.  Sonya’s extensive tenure in law is also backed up with an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies. Sonya’s passion for learning and assisting the helpless influenced her to steer her career into the legal industry.

At an early age, Sonya knew that she wanted to help the disempowered and her community through law and justice. She is truly compassionate, committed and dedicated to her clients, Sonya will never hesitate to go the extra mile for them.

In her spare time Sonya enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the outdoors.  Sonya has 2 beautiful daughters and a bull terrier named Rocco, who among all together keep her on her toes when she is not at the office.  Sonya’s interests include weightlifting, music, and traveling. She also enjoys a night out on the dancefloor or laughing at a good comedy show.

Sonya truly loves the happiness that exists in her life and enjoys the simplest things. She is the epitome of positive and brings that energy wherever she goes.
